Make sure emergency breaker (if provisioned/wired that way) is set to ON
Manually rotate star wheel with electrical hot gloves upwards for emergency (CCW from front) and see if it transfers back (CW) when commerical power is restored.
If ATS is transferring one direction but not the other, clearing contactors can be bad. Part number: ASCO 353581
If ASCO board is burnt, replace the rectifier and transformer too! Make sure rectifier is not putting out AC!
Make sure excersing is not set to 20 hours!’
Waiting for emergency acceptable?
Make sure generator kicks on when power is cut and 2 wire ATS is continuative.
Make sure generator is making at least 200v but closer to 240v if possible.
Make sure ATS is recieving around 240v
Test to make sure ATS can transfer in either direction, you do not want to be stuck in emergency!
