Stuck Throttle Actuator?

  • The plastic teeth on the actuator are likely damaged or have failed.

Preventing a Stuck Actuator

  • During preventive maintenance (PM), pop 1 clip off the actuator motor cover and spray silicone lubricant inside.
  • Add a coolant hose provision to the throttle body pedestal.
  • Modify the parameters in genlink to promote smoother throttle action
  • Update controller to latest version
  • Make sure regulator flow is good
